This young man came to our office in serious pain. It was finals season at his high school, so he was under pressure. He was also malnourished and chain smoking–a lethal trio! He had Acute Necrotizing Ulcerative Periodontitis, a severe type of gum disease brought on by a weak immune system and stress. After completing a full-mouth scaling and root planing you can see that even one week later his tissue are so much healthier. His pain was gone and he even passed his final exams!

Our patient was 91, with gold teeth surrounded by deep pockets where bacteria could thrive. Through osseous surgery, we were able to reduce pocket size for improved periodontal health and reduced inflammation.
Guided Tissue Regeneration
Targeted bone grafting to save a tooth.
This 15-year-old girl was referred to us to see if we could save her lower right first molar which had a 14 mm pocket on the front and was already loose. Through targeted bone grafting we were able to regrow lost bone, shrink the pocket to 5 mm, and provide her with a Pristine result.
